  ENGLAND-2               Olde New England-2 is an overview
  of the earlier presence of Europeans in North America from both
  archaeological and recent medical evidence. New England has an ancient
  history dating back to the Paleo-indigenous people period. The book contains
  an overview of succeeding wars between the indigenous people and early
  settlers. As described in ‘The
  Pequot War' and ‘The Sack of
  Deerfield'. The work of Roger Williams, his linguistic study and
  personal observations of indigenous language and culture, which allows the
  reader an ‘eye-witness’ account of the period. The tragedy of Witch Trials,
  fueled by secular bigotries and ‘gossip’ is observed together with trial
  depositions and the insidious thoughts of Reverend Cotton Mather.      |
